Stamping Vacation

Hello stampers. HAe you visited my blog lately and seen that I haven't made many changes in a while? Well, life has been busier than I expected it to be this year so far and stamping has taken a back seat. I plan to be much more active with my stamping come September when both boys are in school full-time. Stay tuned!!!

My Kids' Valentiens

These are the valentines I made for my kids this year. My youngest has to bring some to preschool both Thursday and Friday, so I made two different ones for him. They both get the fundip pull outs, but the younges also gets the little purses with reeses' hearts in them. ;) The bouquets are for the teachers.:)

Directions
· Using a sponge dauber, paint the chipboard heart with the Real Red Craft ink. While it is still wet, sprinkle with the Clear Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat with the heat tool.
· While it is still hot, sprinkle with more clear powder and heat again. Repeat until desired appearance.
· Cut a 5 ½ x 8 ½ piece of Whisper White Card Stock, scoring at 4 ¼ and folding.
· Cut a 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 piece of Riding Hood Red Card Stock. Run it through the Big Shot with the Texturz Plate of your choice. Follow the directions on the multipurpose platform.
· On a scrap piece of Whisper White Card Stock, stamp 2 X’s and one O.
· Punch out with the 1 ¼ square punch. Also punch one blank white square.
· Using your 1 3/8 square punch, punch out 4 black squares.
· Mat the white squares with the black squares.
· Adhere to the Riding Hood Red textured piece in a square grid.
· Wrap a piece of Black 1/4” grosgrain ribbon around the card and tie a knot in the center of the card. /s
· Stamp Happy Valentine’s Day in Basic Black.
· Using the Word Window Punch, punch out Happy Valentine’s, leaving room the left to poke a hole for ribbon. Tie it to the black ribbon and stick down with ½ dimmensional.
· Adhere assembled Riding Hood Red piece to front of White Card.

Directions
· Cut a 11 x 4 ¼ piece of Riding Hood Red Card Stock, score at 5 ½ and fold.
· Cut a 2 ½ X 4 ¼ piece of Pretty in Pink Card Stock and punch the 4 ¼ sides with the Scallop Edge Punch.
· Cut a 2 x 4 ¼ piece of Whisper White Card Stock and adhere to the front of the Pretty in Pink Piece.
· Tie a piece of the Riding hood Red Taffeta Ribbon (approximately 12 inches long) around the white/pink piece centered from top to bottom with the knot off to the left.
· Rub a scrap of Pretty in Pink Card Stock and Riding Hood Red Card Stock with the Embossing buddy.
· Using the VersaMark Pad, stamp one heart from Polka Dot Punches on each scrap.
· Dust with the Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
· Heat with heat tool until set…will look like foil when it’s set correctly.
· Punch each heart out and apply to the white with Dimmensionals.
· Rub Bottom of card front with Embossing Buddy. Stamp “Love” in VersaMark across the bottom.
· Dust with the Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
· Heat with heat tool until set…will look like foil when it’s set correctly.
· Adhere the pink ensemble on the front of the card.

Directions
· Cut a 5 ½ x 8 ½ piece of Close to Cocoa Card Stock, scoring at 4 ¼ and folding. · Cut the Candy Lane Designer Series Paper (use the one that has stripes on one side and pink polka dots on the other, cut two pieces that are 2 x 2 and 2 pieces that are 3 x 2.
· Lay them out in an alternating pattern as shown.
· Cut a 2 x 2 piece of Very Vanilla Cart Stock.
· Stamp the birds from the Love You Much Stamp Set in Jet Black Staz On and color it with the Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Write Marker.
· Stamp “Friend to Friend” in Riding Hood Red under the birds.
· Cut a 2 x 3 piece of Riding Hood Red Card Stock and punch the left edge with the Scallop Edge punch.
· Mount the stamped birds on the Riding Hood Red Card Stock.
· Tie the Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon around the Red Card Stock.
· Adhere to the center of the card.
· Using the Heart to Heart punch, punch two sets of hearts in each red and vanilla.
· Using one of the smallest hearts, cover the heart between the birds with a Dimmensionals.
· Adhere the other hearts as desired with Dimmensionals.

Hello Stampers! This is the first time I've attended Leadership and what a wonderful Experience! We still have one more day to go, but I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting Uplines who are levels above me, other Demos, learning more. about building my business, getting sneak peaks of things to come this year---AND of course the SWAPPING!
